Refund Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Important: GoBaoPay never receives, holds, or processes the payments made against your requests. Because of this, GoBaoPay cannot issue, reverse, or guarantee a refund for any payment a buyer makes to a seller.
1. Refunds between buyer and seller
When a buyer pays a GoBaoPay payment request, the money goes directly into the seller's own PayPal, Alipay, WeChat Pay, bank, Wise, or Remitly account. Any refund, reversal, or dispute over that payment must be handled directly between the buyer and seller, using the refund or dispute process of the payment provider that was actually used (for example, PayPal's own dispute resolution centre).
2. GoBaoPay's role
GoBaoPay only displays the request and its status. We are not a party to the underlying payment and have no ability to pull funds back from a seller's account or push funds back to a buyer. Sellers are expected to act in good faith and issue refunds through their payment provider when appropriate, in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Refunds of GoBaoPay platform fees
If GoBaoPay charges you a fee for use of the platform itself (separate from, and unrelated to, any buyer payment), that fee is governed by the terms agreed when your account was set up. As a general policy, platform fees already incurred for a billing period are not refunded, except where required by law or at our discretion in cases of service failure attributable to GoBaoPay. To request a review, contact [email protected].
4. Questions
If you're unsure whether a refund question relates to a buyer payment or a platform fee, contact [email protected] and we'll point you in the right direction.
